Part 2: Envisioning Phase- Analysis Current ICT Infrastructure

Sungguh cepat masa berlalu. Fasa envisioning sepatutnya telah berakhir tetapi deliverables of this phase has not yet been revised.

This phase aims to understand current ICT infra. This include - security, network, desktop, current user experience, applications, current e-mail infra. So many interview sessions have been arranged to gather various info. I've tried my best to organise those sessions, of course with boss PA and dearest KY & H(part time only bcoz currently dealt with another project). Really appreciate support comes from key team member such as AS, YA, SR, SJ, ANS etc.

I understood their condition due to their involvement in other projects. hmm so many on going project runs at the same time. Ya Allah, Moga permudahkan urusan perlaksanaan projek ini serta memberi manfaat kepada organisasi dan seterusnya negara.

Times moves very fast. I even unabled to do reading/study/research abt AD & Exchange much. Very busy organising meeting, monitoring site prep, organising vendor working areas, contract , review planning for next phase etc. I think my works is not running very smooth but oklah for my first 30 days in this new position. It's a challenge for me to switch from System Developer to Project Manager/Coordinator managing ICT infra project. Must gain many info on AD & Exchange to make my life easier.

Many issues need to be tackled such as proposed hardware requirement did not match with current requirement. This is due to the number of staff would be increased tremendously, hmmm nearly 50% in 3 years. hmm about 1.7K staff yearly. Furhermore, the hardware requirement was based on earlier studies not based on envisioning studies. bajet constraint
